This course includes:
- Measuring & cutting fabric
- Making, & attaching your piping
- Mastering the skill of hand-joining and machine-joining
your piping - Creating your concealed zip
- Invaluable stitching techniques
You will also develop the skills to create a formal straight corner or a plump rounded corner, depending on your preference for your aesthetic.
You will confidently be able to take the skills learnt in this course and apply it to other projects, with invaluable advice on fabric choices, stitching techniques and much more.

Louise Packwood, is an AMUSF (The Association of Master Upholstered and Soft Furnishers) accredited specialist soft furnishing instructor with her own Sewing School.
Dedicated to teaching others, Louise believes anyone can do this and everyone has creativity inside - and we're here to find it and put it to good use!
With a longing passion for interiors and sewing, Louise wants to help you develop your love for sewing too. Understanding many will not have a ready-made workroom available, Louise will help you adapt to the space you have.
